Why am I obsessed with women in nylons or stockings?

Everyone has their own preference, niche, or (dare I say) fetish. There is probably a psycho-semantic reason for any preference really, uniquely tailored to each person from their well of specific life experiences…but as far as fetishes go; the welcome sight of a woman in pantyhose is rather vanilla. Pantyhose is 100% feminine, therefore the wearer is guaranteed to attract someone who enjoys woman that are sophisticated and sexy. Also pantyhose is one of the few acceptable garments that is both seen out of the skirt on her legs and not seen underneath the skirt.

·         It's both outerwear and underwear.
So it's no wonder that it's appreciated. It's pleasant to look at and carries with it the air of mystery as well. Relax. It's perfectly natural to appreciate it.

First, “boobs” is slang and offensive to many women . If you want to design bras for women customers, the proper word is “breast” and sewing patterns for clothing like blouses and dresses speak in terms of the “bust” and “chest" measurements. I am going to assume that you do not mean to offend and that perhaps English is not your first language, but please be aware particularly if you are male that many women are uncomfortable speaking about undergarments to men or any strangers and saying “boobs” and other slang words for body parts can mark you as unprofessional and cost you business. You can search online for “how to measure for sewing” and find forms to fill in using the proper terms in English for men and women for different types of clothing. Padding in the bra cup is not a primary consideration to whether the design of the cups is properly   shaped  and  supportive  enough   to hold the breasts in a good position in combination with the straps. ...

Fear  certainly isn’t the reason — this only explains why some men are  hesitant  to wear women’s clothing — not why they  can’t  wear them. In truth, there aren’t any reasons at all why men can’t wear cute women’s clothing.  There are no laws that prohibit this, and cultural norms have been changing for many years already. Sure, there are some parts of the world in which this practice may be frowned upon by some people. So if “disapproval” is what you’re asking, yes - some disapprove but that’s  not  what you’re asking. Why don't Europeans wear European style clothing anymore? They all wear American style clothing since the second WW. Do Europeans not take pride in their native clothing?

If we’re talking about the t-shirt and jeans then you have a point, as these were made popular by Americans. Except that Jeans were patented by immigrants from Europe - Jacob W. Davis was Latvian by birth and Levi Strauss was born in Buttonheim, Bavaria (now part of Germany as he was born in 1829). The classic men’s suit was made popular in Victorian England as a more pragmatic alternative to the gaudy fancy coats of the Regency period while for women the revolution towards less conservative dresses was thanks to French maiden Coco Chanel and her Little Black Dress . Very French. Sure, it was inspired by Henry Ford’s famous motto for the Model T  “you can have any colour you want, so long as it’s black”  but it is still coming from a French model and fashion guru.
