Do women buy loud heels on purpose?

Ha! It would almost seem that way, huh?
Not the majority of us, no.
Have you ever noticed how many shoe stores are carpeted? The shoe sales areas of department stores are, too.
We don't even realize how "clackety" our shoes (and boots!) are until we get them home (or wear them out onto hard floors for the first time.)
The other problem is that heels HAVE to be made of rigid materials. If they were made of flexible tennis shoe bottom material they would "give" constantly and we'd wobble until we fell flat on our faces!
Just a little side note: If you ever notice in movies, you don't hear women's heels clack unless they WANT you to. That's because on movie sets, they put little plastic "cups" on the heels to prevent the noise.
Wouldn't it be nice if those were available at every shoe store, huh??

Why do so many people fail at dressing well?

For a very large percentage of the population, fashion is the enemy. Clothing for women is made primarily for pre-pubescent or starved bodies. When one is a not-10 year old female one develops inconsistent and inconvenient curves and bumps. Clothing designers do not like those curves and bumps and they make SURE you know it. How dare we have hips? Hips are ugly! Breasts should remain a decent 30" no more, so that pre-filled bras make sense. Forget waists. Clothing designers have absolutely no idea what a waist is - why should they, they've never needed to. I go to the store to buy clothes and my choices are to dress like a tween prostitute, a heroin addict or an old lady. Where do I find the place that will dress my completely, utterly female body in a natty suit? I guess I'll just fly over to Hong Kong; after all, for the cost of dressing well, I'd probably save money. At this point, I'm lucky I can dress at all, much less well. Ain't no store sell...

Are women that wear jewelry more elegant than women that don’t?

Wearing a  little black dress  with no jewelry at all is the must of the must for French people, but you must pick the right dress. Find a dress that fits perfectly under the knees, pair it with simple black stilettos, and throw your hair in an up-do to create an incredible look. Complete the look with red lipstick and a few drops of luxury perfume. Ohlala! What are you showing with this look? You are showing yourself, your image, your body, your shoulders and your neck. Why is the price of women’s lingerie so high even though only small amounts of cloth are used?

I’d just like to add a couple of processes/ aspects which make a big difference to the cost of women’s lingerie .
